Centreville Public School was pleased to host the Tech ‘n’ Tinker (TNT) Trailer on Monday and Tuesday October 15
th and 16th. The Tech ‘n’ Tinker Trailer is an initiative designed by Queen’s University Applied Science Connections Outreach Program. The TNT Trailer is a mobile makerspace that travels to different schools, community organizations and public events in the Kingston area. The TNT Trailer staff provide children with a range of educational opportunities and hands on experiential learning that complement the Ontario school curriculum.

Each class in the school, from JK-Grade 8, had the opportunity to participate in a session of robotics programming and a session of Tech ‘n’ Tinker innovation programming. Some of the programs included Introduction to Mindstorm, Ozobot Search and Rescue, Coding the CanadaArm 2 and Designing an AirPowered Car. All of the students were absolutely engaged for the 2 day period and thoroughly enjoyed this unique opportunity.
