During the potential inclement weather months (roughly early November to early April), our transportation partner, Tri-Board Student Transportation Services (Tri-Board), works closely with their school bus companies to determine if it is safe to offer school transportation on inclement weather days.

Principal Update Dear Families, Happy Thanksgiving. I hope all of our Centreville community is enjoying a wonderful holiday with family and friends. Last week we had a successful Fire Drill witnessed by the Stone Mills Fire Department. Our school was evacuated and accounted for quickly.

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day are held annually on September 30. This day invites us to engage intentionally in learning about the Residential School System, and the true history of relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in Canada.

Principal Update Dear Families, As September ends and October begins, we will recognize two important events. This week is National Truth and Reconciliation Week and on Tuesday September 30th we will recognize Orange Shirt day.

Parent Involvement Committee (PIC) Co-Chair Elections are scheduled for the first PIC meeting on Thursday October 23, 2025. If you wish to apply, nominations are due by Thursday, October 9, 2025 at 4:00 p.m., and must be accompanied by a short biography (maximum 250 words).

In this live webinar EQAO will present the results of the 2024-25 Primary (Grade 3) and Junior (Grade 6) Assessments of Reading, Writing and Mathematics. Participants will also learn about the latest research and resources available on eqao.com.
